Picture Frame Revamp

Over the weekend I found this rather interesting picture. It says 1974 and initials MLP. It had such interesting colors. It was only $2.00. I figured what the heck.

The very next day the husband painted the frame for me. I think he has a secret love of painting things, even though he denies. He painted a metal and tile trivet the other week for me. It came out great. That one was pistachio. This frame became brown. It found a good home in the dining room. The dining room is already milk dud - with malted milk walls and chocolate turtle brown trim.

If the house was different colors I would swear it was a haunted house. Something about the hook material of it made me think it would be the texture I was looking for.

  1. The darker frame really makes the picture standout, what a great improvement and what a bargain!
